Ethical Trade Policy
At GSUK we are wholly committed to ethical trade. We guarantee
that all of the factories and suppliers we use are fully checked
by our ethic’s team in the Far East.
Factories and suppliers are vetted and must comply with the
following criteria:
- Staff must work under a set amount of
hours.
- Staff must be allowed adequate break time.
- Staff must earn an adequate wage for the
job for which they are employed.
- Factory must supply adequate toilet, washing
and refreshment facilities.
- Factory workshops must a safe and secure
environment.
- No children must ever be allowed to work
within the factory.
These criteria amongst many others must be adhered
to before GSUK will consider entering into a business relationship
with a supplier. Therefore you can rest assured that the products
you order through GSUK will have been produced in a factory
that meets our own high standards of ethical trade.
Many companies claim to have a similar policy but without a
dedicated team on the ground in the Far East this is just not
realistically achievable.
A copy of the completed inspection checklist, performed by our
team, from the factory in which your goods have been produced,
can be supplied along with your order. |
